GETTING READY FOR OUR NEXT SALE -- OCTOBER 19-22, 2023
Thank you to all our patrons that attended the Spring Book Sale, to our volunteers who worked tirelessly not only at the 4-day sale, but throughout the year to prepare for each of our semi-annual events, and the George Mason Library staff who graciously tolerated a week of upheaval with a smile.
Once our sale is over we immediately begin the process of preparing for the next sale. The lifeblood of our sales are your donations, which we accept throughout the year. We thank you in advance for your generosity.
Here is what we do after you drop off your donations, be they books, CDs or DVDs.
* we check them for condition.
* we sort them into the myriad categories you see at the sale.
* we price the items and pack them for storage until the next sale.
The proceeds we collect at the book sales support Fairfax County libraries, summer reading programs, and special literary events.
We will begin soon to post highlights of what you will find at the sale in October.
