An ever popular category is children’s books! Several that will be offered at our October book sale are highlighted below.
Beautiful editions of two classics: Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson and Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe. Both volumes are illustrated by N.C. Wyeth and are part of Atheneum Books for Young Readers. $ 7 each.
A 1963 edition of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Wild Swans. Black and white illustrations. $25.

And always a favorite are pop-up books.
One pop-up book about birds is In the Air and Everglades—The Scientific American Pop-Up Book of Birds by Judy Marshall which describes a variety of birds and shows them, through pop-up illustrations, in their natural habitat. $3
