Military History Books – the Osprey
Series
We have an unusually large quantity of books from the Osprey series. This series covers warfare in the Ancient World, examining the equipment, uniforms, training and
tactics of soldiers and warriors on the battlefield, from the Spartans of
Ancient Greece to the legendary Roman Legions.
Several series include: the Campaign series where major battles are
analyzed; the Elite series focusing on a single army and military tactics; the Warrior series; and the Fortress series addressing the
history of military architecture. 
The Osprey books contain vivid illustrations, diagrams, and charts
in black and white and color that enable the reader to
immerse themselves in the action of the time.
