Thank You to Our Wonderful Volunteers!

Kora and Reem get an early start
on their community service hours
Heartfelt thank yous to the many volunteers who gave their time in the last six months to make this sale a success, and especially to those who pitched in over the last two weeks to move furniture and set up tables in FIVE parts of the library, unpack 1200 cartons of books, magazines, DVDs and CDs, put up signs, cashier, bring food, serve food, clean up food, pack remainders, take down signs, move more furniture, and finally restore the library to its normal, peaceful state.

Dale sends customers off with a friendly word,
while Gene mans the "Shed Shuttle."
It's a lot of work, to be sure, but it's a lot of fun, too, as you can tell by these smiling faces. And it's well worth the effort to fund the county summer reading program, adult and children's programs, and more.

Think you might want to help, too? You don't have to wait until the spring sale -- we are right back on the job sorting and pricing new donations. Email us to learn more!
Jim and Doris help a customer check out.

New friends Laura and Sohier
take a break between customers.

Jayne and Bob have been loyal book
sale volunteers for many years.
