The Fall Book Sale Is Coming!

The George Mason Friends are busy preparing for our Fall Book Sale (September 22 - 25).  We currently have more than 1,000 large boxes of books for adults and children, DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes, and audio books processed for the sale, thanks to the generous donations from the community.  We are still accepting donations for the sale.

As always, we have a large quantity of hardback and softcover fiction and nonfiction. We will have a good selection of Korean and Vietnamese language children's books.

Some of the books we will have available are:

A wide variety of popular adult fiction, including mystery, adventure and suspense, westerns, and romances.  We also will have literature classics, drama, short stories, and literary essays and biographies.

Our nonfiction categories include history, philosophy, religion, math and science, medicine, education, self-help, business, and computers.  We also have a large selection of art and architecture, music (including a large selection of sheet music), cooking, crafts, gardening and travel books.  We also have reference (including test prep books and dictionaries) and a section devoted to foreign language materials and ESL.

And did we mention that we have a number of rare older books, both fiction and nonfiction?  Most will be in the meeting room area, although some will be in our Adult Case in the Lobby.

We hope to see you at one (or more) of the sale days -- September 22 to 25.  Check back as we publish lists and photos of items that will be in our special Children's and Adult cases in the GM Library lobby.
